Developer Intern Program Job
openplaces is seeking highly motivated, intelligent and competitive interns for its year-round, 16-week paid internship program for new graduates in Software Engineering and Computer Science. A part-time co-op program is also being offered for university students available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Interns will gain a broad range of technical experience working on real-world challenge projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to work with experienced, smart people and cool, experimental software.
Working on both front-end user interface and back-end data processing code, interns will be exposed to a wide variety of new technologies such as: Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Cassandra, Weka, Solr and Ruby on Rails.
